My mum always tells me when shits rough, "being a teenager is hard annie". I'm not sure why, but this phrase always seems to calm me down. I guess it's like an adult admitting that it's okay to be dramatic, emotional and confused all the time. It's true though, being a teenager is hard and in a way I can't wait till I'm an adult and I can see past all the petty things that bother me now.
