wishing for woods

How many hours I spent wishing that some beautiful luscious forest existed near to where I lived. I would spend all my time there.

lavender

The colour purple can be so vibrant and beautiful when it's put against earthy colours. I love the photograph above of the lavender trees surrounding the little cottage. I wish I lived somewhere green and lush :|

loves

Extravagant floating beds, art on tree trunks, clothing lines on cliffs.

christ it's already christmas!!

How ridiculously quick has this year gone! I can't believe it's already November. Well Mum has put up the tree quite early this year, but I have to adore her for it, as there's something about a Christmas tree that makes your home even more homely and comforting. I'm thinking of burning a disc of carols tonight so I can just sit near it and feel jolly :) These are two pictures I took just then of our tree + one of the cupcakes I just baked ;)

But a CUBBY HOUSE with a CHIMNEY surrounded by pink tree's.
Oh my, life is complete.

longing

Posts on trees, cubby houses, forests, hidden gardens, roses and flowers will be repeated many times by me on this blog, I'm warning you now. Theseare possibly my favourite thing to imagine and dream about. As soon as I begin travelling- my first overseas trip will be to somewhere very very green with plenty of ciders, figs and oak trees to lay under until my heart's content.
Sigh- Why can't Australia just be a tiny bit greener?
