vintage fair

I had the most lovely day today. My mum and I went to this wonderful vintage fair in Mt Gravat which was full of all kinds of incredible curiousities. I didn't come home empty-handed, in fact.. I came home with 9 things in hand, which if you ask me- screams success! Not only were the clothes fantastic but because we came on the last day everything was reduced a shitload and there was $2 tea and coffee! Afterwards we went and got lunch at Montezumas which never fails to make my mouth water. yumyumyum. For larger/more photos of the day please look at my other blog.

Ah vinnies, we have shared a lovely relationship over the past few years and I know we will be together forever.. (or as long as globalization allows)!
I just came home from visiting you with a pale green blazer, a pale lace collared button up blouse, an old tommy hilfiger singlet and a big vintage straw hat with a navy ribbon around it!

The New Yorker

As Anna is away, and I'm back from my snow holiday, I'm going to have to step up my game! I love the New Yorker, simply because every single page of it is attention-grabbing and interesting, so one doesn't skip multiple pages at a time trying to find something the slightest bit intriguing. Here is a front cover of an issue from February 4th, 1939, and one from 2009. I love how little it's changed.
