spots

Another animal that I have not loved prior to reading the Obernewyton Chronicles is; horses. The last time I rode a horse it was a spotty one that was supposed to be calm and simple (quite similar looking to the horse in the photo above). I thought, Great. I should be able to handle this.
In the end it nearly bucked me off numerous times, chased other horses down hills into creeks and scared the living shit out of me for every torturous second I was on it.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind testing out horse riding again, I have grown to be in awe of their size and manner rather then frightened. But again, this is most likely because the horses in my book can put thoughts into other's minds..

Damn you fantasy books.

fantasy-e-scape

I agree with this so ridiculously much. It is almost like a tease for me, reading fantasy book after fantasy book then falling into epic jealously thrived depressions afterwards. I think that is what draws me to fantasy books the most, they are the kind of books you can think about and dream about for months afterwards. Their ideas and concepts stay with you and seep into your mind and your own imaginations. People always want what they can't have most so something that doesn't really exist, is the most compelling.

caves

Aren't caves such a beautiful part of nature? When I come across photographs such as this one it brings that yearn to live somewhere remote, where a bike ride away you have this abandoned paradise. I would love to be able to find a cave in the water such as this one. There's something fantasy-like about caves, somewhere where you could imagine a mermaid swimming through.
